I am searching the following lines: Joseph Quigley and Mary Quigley. They lived near Pleasant Hill. Joseph shot and killed his wife Mary and then killed himself on either August 17th or September 17th, 1877. They left behind 6 children. I am trying to find out where they are buried. I know there was a coroners inquest. Michael Quigley and wife Mary Murphy Quigley. They lived in Polk Township and are in the Polk Township, Cass County census from 1860 until 1880. Michael was Joseph's brother and took in one of the 6 children. She was probably a newborn when they took her. Her name was Anna Quigley. I'm trying to get any information I can on Michael Quigley and locate any descendents. If anyone has information as to whether Polk Township still exists or is now called something else, I need that information also. I would also like to find any deed records or cemetery records for Michael and his wife.
