Hi My ggrandparents, Joseph and Josephine (Briton) Randolph and family were in Cass County, MO on the 1880 census in Coldwater township. Children listed with them were daughter, Grace, and sons, Clarence and Robert Roy. My grandfather, Ernest, was born to them in Freeman, Cass County, MO on 19 Apr 1889. I think they lived there a couple of years after that before they moved to Indian Territory (OK). I think possibly Joseph's brother, Robert (Bob) Randolph, was in Cass Co. too. Josephine's younger brother, Robert Briton, was listed in the household with Joseph and Josephine Randolph on the 1880 census. Since Joseph & Josephine were both born in KY and married in Morgan County, IN I was wondering about if there were others that moved to Cass County at the same time (1879 or 1880) and what the attraction was that drew them to that area. Hi list, have William Wallace Barnett born in 1839, Indianoldsfield, KY, mar'd Mary A Randolph also born in Indianoldsfield KY in 1839. They moved to Cass Co and lived there a number of years. Mary's father was Robert Randolph and mother was Hannah Wilcox = he was born 1820 in McMinn, TN.
