Hi Joane, Sorry I've been so long in getting back to you, it's just been a hectic week. I was able to spend a little time at the library tonight. I don't have any answers for you yet, but a couple of possible leads. Do you know if the children included a Charles and Henry that would have been minors when Nancy died? From an index, I know there's estate records involving these two children. They are located in the Historical Society and I will check there next if they are in deed related. There's also a Carroll McRoberts estate record that I will check. Thought maybe if she's the McRoberts who raised him there would be some mention of him if she left a will. Have not been able to locate any other McRoberts records that would appear pertinent given the time frame and the McRoberts being elderly. Will let you know if I find anything additional.
