    1. Re: [MOCASS] Roll Call BRISCOE, LYNCH
    2. Good evening, My interest in Cass county is Charles Briscoe who married Rose LYNCH. BRISCOE..........I have the dates of the birth of their children Mary Alice born in 1882 and John born in 1885. I find Charles Briscoe next in the Oregon 1900 census with the two children Mary Alice and John.....and with a new wife of 3 years. I am trying to find Rose Lynch BRISCOE...... Any help in this search would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Jacqueline jacroing67@aol.com

    3. Hello - I a researching Saulsbury Pennington (1828 - 1875, buried in Freeman) and his wife, Eliza A. Pennington (b. 1828 - d. ?); their daughter Mary Elizabeth (1848 - d?, may be buried in West Union Cemetery or the tombstone there may just be a memorial) Pennington who married (1) (? possibly Eli) Prindable (absolutely nothing known), (2) Christopher Robbins (1839 - 1870, buried in West Union Cemetery), and (3) James William Johnson (b. 1857 - d. ?). Am particularly interested in: * Johnson family -- Who are the parents & siblings of James W. Johnson? James W. Johnson and Mary Elizabeth had AnnaBell (b. 1885 - d. 1966), Hazel May (b. 1889 - d. ? but probably young), George, Oliver, & Myrtle. Does anyone have any info to fill in the gaps on these children? When did James & Mary Elizabeth die and where are they buried for certain? (Mary Elizabeth's name is inscribed on the tombstone of her 2nd husband Christopher Robbins--which is in West Union Cemetery--along with their son Sherman. However, she was married to Johnson for a much longer period of time and suspect that this was inscribed when Christopher died in anticipation that she would be buried there when she died. I suspect she is really buried next to her 3rd husband, James.) * AnnaBell Johnson (1885 - 1966 in Clinton, MO) -- Born & raised in Cass Co. Married Thomas Dimic Casper in (according to family) July 1901, however, I have never been able to find a marriage for them. If someone is perusing the newspaper microfilms around that date would they please keep an eye out for a marriage notice? It may be that they married elsewhere but the marriage was announced in the Harrisonville newspaper. I have looked in 13 counties for this marriage (including the bordering Kansas Counties, and the counties where the groom was born & raised and the counties surrounding it) and am unable to locate any marriage record. Their first child was born in 1903 so I would be more likely to believe that the marriage took place either in 1902 or 1903 rather than the 1901 that family members indicate. * Pennington Family -- Does anyone know when Eliza Pennington died and where she might be buried? Perhaps there was a second marriage for her? Thanks. Cheri Casper IBSSG =^..^=
