    3. I thought with the current roll call, now would be a great time to mention I live in Harrisonville, near the library and visit there frequently. If you have a specific request I would be glad to look for it while there. Local papers since the mid 1880s are available on microfilm and I can check those if you have a specific date and preferably a specific location. Please do not ask me to check for a large time span, I have done that for my own research and dread doing so. Lots of county information is available of course, deed records, plat book, census, cemetery indexes, etc. Again, the more specific the request the better. I am happy to help if I can. Kim

    3. Hi Kim Regarding your offer of a library lookup. Is there a census or tax list after 1880 and on or before 1890 that might give me information about the people who raised my grandfather Frank Williams after his mother died in 1880. He was taken in by the McRoberts family. They only McRoberts I have found in Cass County around that time is Carroll and Lucinda McRoberts. I was hoping that there would be some document that would show him living with them between 1880 and 1890. Frank was 7 when his mother died. Thanks for any suggestions or help you can give me.
