Dickey. John's 2nd wife: Nancy Martin Smith, m 13 Oct 1847, They had one son, John, b Sept 1848 John appears on the census, in the Pleasant Hill area, with his mother and stepbrothers, Alfred and Andrew, in 1860. John is still with his mother in 1870, but disappears by the 1880 census. ELIJAH P. JAMES - b ca. 1823. I believe that his parents were David and Mary James. He was in Johnson Co. in the 1850 census. My Brown family MAY have lived in Cass Co: JAMES H. BROWN, b 1826, KY. He MAY have a brother named William Noah, and a brother named J.S. Thanks, Betty
