    3. Hi Sheila If you can figure out the Charles Potts clan, you are a better woman than me. He had 4 wives and who knows how many children and step children. in the 1880 Census there were 5 Williams Children, 3 Potts Children, and 3 more Potts that were Charles and Nancy's children listed. There was also an Alphones Nichols who is listed as a step child of Charles but I have no idea who his mother was. If Charles Henry Potts was in Seattle, he was probably with the Williams boys who moved to Seattle in 1889. I will look him up in the Seattle Directories and see what I can find. I have an elderly relative in her 90's that remembers some of these folks. She may be able to tell me something. If you know who Alphones Nickols is, please let me know. According to a relative he died in Los Angeles in a car crash in 1952.
