William was instumental in the incorporation of the town of Pleasant Hill .. the Wilmotts and related lines were connected with other Cass Co, ILLINOIS people.. seems several families moved back and forth between those two counties named the same, but in different states.. Some of the other related lines to the above Wilmotts in Cass Co area.. Shanks, Dunlap, Miller, Parrott, Parker, Clarke, Hearne, Shortridge, Trollenger Graves- mid 1800s Dickerson - early 1900s> Sidebottom- 1940> thanks, chatty
Hi, I research the line of Hendrickson, Laffoon, Lafoon, Maxwell, Powell,Rice Dalton, Fleming and others in Cass County and Jackson County, Missouri for my father's paternal family. I also research Wolf, Wolfe, Butts, Capper on my father's maternal line. So far they are mostly in nearby Miami County, Kansas. I live in Jackson Co. MO which is not far from either. I've searched Census records from 1920, 1910 and 1900 Miami Co. and 1920, 1910 for Cass Co. and will be searching 1900 Cass Co. I do also have a line of Miller's on my Hendrickson side. Cemeteries I visit are Cleveland, Corinth and West Union in Cass Co. I am needing to visit Freeman and Belton as well. In Miami Co., KS I visit Louisburg City Cemetery. Thanks to all.
