I am searching for information on the Clemens family who moved to Cass County from Moniteau Co, MO. In a 1931 obituary of James McDaniel (he married Lucinda M. "Nellie" Clemens) two of her brothers were listed as living in Pleasant Hill. They were Frank and Green Clemens. The parents of these Clemens siblings were John and Mary Jane Clark Clemens. I believe they moved to Cass Co. sometime after 1880. Some of the other children were James, Sarah, and Birdie. According to one source Mary Jane Clemens had about 12 children.
