I do volunteer research for the Cass County Family History Guild. When I saw your query, I checked the Cass County Cemetery CD and found the following: Jacob S. Staley and his wife, Catharine Meeks are both buried at Staley Mound Cemetery. Jacob was the son of Christian and Nancy (Waggoner) Staley and was born 31 May 1808 near Pittsburg, PA He married Catharine 19 Dec. 1830 and died 26 May 1883 There is a notation saying that a daughter, Mary Ann, died in infancy in Ohio. Another daughter, Fletcher M., who died 5 Dec. 1874 in Howard Co., KS, is also buried at Staley Mound Cemetery. I hope this is of some help to you.
