I have two Davis relatives who married Downs and I wondered if there were any descendents left in Cass Co. Rhoda Bell Davis b 18 Aug 1884 in Harrisonville, Cass Co., m. Abraham Franklin Downs on 25 Nov 1901. Son of Russell Burrell Downs and Margaret Ann Grainger. Born 18 apr 1874 in Whitehall, Greene Co., IL and d. 9 Nov 1952 in Webb City, Jasper Co., MO. When and where did Rhoda die? I have one daughter Mary Elmeda, who married Grover Cleveland Hook in 1924 in Freeman, Cass Co. Rhoda had a cousin Emma Lee Stout b. ca 1875, married John Downs on 30 Aug. 1891 at Harrisonville. I think their children were Stella Flawn b. 1895; Ross O'Neil, b. 17 Nov 1899 at West Line, Cass Co., died in Texas, m. Maude Phelps; and Maxine Algernon Downs (male), b. 8 Dec. 1903, m. Ethel Lizzie Joy on 18 Sep 1926, both died in Texas. Any help in proving this would be appreciated. Margie Bridges
