BLACK Mrs. Eura E. Black, 82, Harrisonville, died Jan. 5 at Cass County Memorial Hospital where she was taken two days previously. Mrs. Black was born in June, 1894, a daughter of Ellis and Katie Tuttle. Her parents moved here from Bates County about 1934. Mrs. Black was married about 1920 and later divorced. For many years Mrs. Black worked as an operator for the Cass County Telephone Company before dial phones were used. She worked for the phone company until she retired. She was a member of the Christian Church here. Mrs. Balck was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Charles Tuttle and Frank Tuttle, the latter a longtime employee of the Democrat-Missourian, and a sister, Lois Tuttle. The only immediate survivor is a nephew, Kenneth Tuttle, who lives in western Texas. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Runnenberger Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Belew officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.
