Does anyone relate to any of these people? I am desperately trying to connect these families to each other! 1. John Wylie and wife, Nancy. Owned property in Cape Girardeu Co. sold on June 8,1829. Filed in Scott Co. 2. Zachariah "Zack" Wylie, murder victim. His wife, Mary was admin. of his estate, Dec.1827. Scott Co. MO. 3.Seborn Wiley (Have also seen the name spelled Seburn and Sebyrn) admin. of his estate was James F. Wiley. June, 1847, Scott Co. MO 4. Sylvanus Beaty Wylie, Cape Girardeu Co. His mother, Rosanna (Hopper) Wylie, native of NC, died at his home in Cape Girardeau, 1862. His father, James Wylie died in his native SC, 1847. S. Beaty married Jane Byrne in Scott Co. in Jan. 1869. A brother to S. Beaty is William P.Wylie. They came to MO late 1850 from SC. I can connect Jane Byrne to my line through the marriage of her aunt, Margaret Byrne. (see no 3. below) Other Wylie names that I can connect to my Wylies are the following: 1. No. 3 above, Seborn and siblings, William and Minerva. These are believed to be children of James F. Wylie and his fist wife, name unknown. 2. Mary Elizabeth Wylie, born Dc. 1831, child of James F. Wylie and his second wife, name unknown. (My GG-grandmother) 3. Rufus, Emily Louisa, Ann. Mildred, and Amanda Rebecca Wylie, children of James F. Wylie and his third wife, Margaret Byrne. Also looking for anyone who connects to the children of James W. Blocker and his first wife, Odelia Santford. They were married Feb. 16, 1847 in Cape Girardeau Co. MO. Children were Columbia J., Henry S. and Mary A. Blocker. Columbia married a Willis, Owen, Gooch and Dunning. Henry S. married Martha Ann Dawsin, and Mary A. married a Mobley.
