My great grandparents, Joseph and Josie Link died during this time according to family legend. I have not been able to prove these dates or locate the burial location. I do know that it is most likely they died before Sep 1918 as they do not appear on the 1920 census and their children appear in the 1920 census living with the oldest daughter Ethel Palmer. If Joseph were alive in Sep 1918, he should have signed up for the WW I draft and I find no draft record for him. I am trying to determine if their were influenze camps in the area or where they might have been taken if they were sick. They don't appear on the Cape County Poor Farm records. Any suggestions?
