I did a little research before I began looking for information on the TAYLOR family. Robert P. Taylor and Eustatia A. Hosser were married 27 Aug 1840 in Cape County. The 1850 Cape Girardeau County Census, page 33, shows they have the folllowing children: Louisa C., Mary M., Sarah E., William W., John D., David H. D. Probate records show a will for Robert P. TAYLOR dated 25 March 1853 - Box 27, Bundle 525. John A. Bennett was the adm. and the heirs are widow, Hustoea Taylor, with minor children Mary M., Sarah E., Wm W., John D., and Robert P. Taylor, Jr. You can order this will by writing or calling: Cape Girardeau County Archives Center 112 East Wahington Jackson, MO 63755 telephone: 573-204-2331 fax: 573-204-2331 Remember to include the deceased person's name, box and bundle where the will can be found. I then found the burials for: OLD MC KENDREE CHAPEL CEMETERY (located 3 miles east of Jackson, MO.) Hustalia A. Taylor, wife of Robert P. 2-2-1817 9-16-1895 John D. Taylor 2-21-1848 4-4-1928 I hope this adds information to your research. Blessings, Ruth at kastenre@ldd.net
