I noticed he had children: Thomas, Albert, Newton, John, Washington, Margaret and Elizabeth. This was helpful when I searched the Cape Girardeau County Probate Records Index as I found in Box 34, Bundle 704, dated 12 Jan 1864 a will for George BELL. His wife is listed as Rachel and heirs as Mary Ann married to -----Bogart, an adult and minor children Thomas, Albert, Newton, John, Washington, and Margaret. I could never find a burial for George Bell.
