Her name was Augusta Marie Borchelt, born January 25 1872 in Missouri, I believe Cape Girardeau. Augusta married, in Missouri, George Richard Palmer, of Michigan. By 1910 they moved to Oregon and lived out their lives there. Augusta had a sister named Mimmie or Minnie who married a Mr. Taylor, and was living in St Louis Missouri, in 1947, at the time of Augusta's death, and a brother, Lee Borchelt, who was living in Cape Girardeau at the time of Augusta's death 1947. After searching the census, I believe her parents were (W F) Fred Borchelt, b. abt 1841, and Mary, b. abt 1836, both born in Hanover Germany. (Census and death certificate all show her parents were born in Germany) The 1880 Missouri census shows Fred Borchelt, age 39, Mary, 44, Auguste, age 8, Minnie, age 5 and John, age 2. The children all born in Missouri. The 1900 Missouri census shows W F Borchelt, age 58 and widowed, son John age 22. The 1910 Missouri census shows Lee Borchelt, age 28. I am trying to find any and all information I can on this family, and where Mary and "Fred" are buried. Can any one help? Any info would be appreciated.
