She had been ill three years. Burial was in Lorimier Cemetery. Miss Mabrey was born at Burfordville, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Mabrey. She retired from teaching in 1952. She had lived in Cape since 1926. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cape Girardeau. Surviving are a sister, Marada Mabrey and several nieces and nephews.
