I've "rescued" two photographs belonging to the GAETZ Family. The first is a photograph of Dora GAETZ taken at the Kassel Studio in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The photograph was probably taken in the 1890's with Dora appearing to be about 3 years old at the time. In addition to her name someone has written "Mom's Sister" on the back of the photograph. The second photograph is one of Bill GAETZ and includes no reference to studio or location. The photograph looks to have been taken about 1900 with Bill appearing to be about 4 years old at the time. In addition to his name (in the same handwriting as appears on Dora's photo) someone has written "Mom's Brother". These two photographs were discovered along with others belonging to the DUMEY and KOELZER families also from Cape Girardeau, MO. I'm hoping to locate someone from this GAETZ Family so that these wonderful old photographs can be returned to the family.
