FUGATE has a will in Cape Girardeau County Probate Records - Box 153, Bundle 2585. It listed the heirs of her estate as brothers, William H. & Hillary V. FUGATE., Niece Ella V. Russell, Mollie B. English & Sarah, alleged to be insane. I read the will and realized that her brother Hillary is deceased at the time of Sarah's death, 18 June 1902 at the age of 71. She is buried in Jackson City Cemetery but I could not find the obit in the Jackson or Cape Girardeau newspaper. The will is dated for probate on 14 July 1902. A copy of the will can be obtained from: Cape Girardeau County Archives Center 112 East Washington Jackson, MO 63755 telephone: 573-204-2331 Mary J. FLINN was the wife of Andrew W. Flinn who left a will (Box 122, Bundle 2189, dated 28 FEb 1888). I just happened to pick up a very small red notebook folder and looked at the table of contents. The book is titled YEAR 1903 May 14, 1903 newspaper extracts "The remains of Mrs. Andrew Flynn, who died at Graysboro, MO. on the 11th inst. were brought in on the train Tuesday afternoon. The burial took place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Fruitland yesterday. Mrs. Flynn was 83 years old." I also found a book in the Jackson Regional Library genealogy room on the FLYNN FAMILY. It was written in 1987 but has the family members written beginning with Ebenezar Flinn who came to the Perry/Cape Girardeau County area in the 1820. (Ebenezar's will is in Box 32, Bundle 653 and dated 7 October 1852.) The book leaves a lot of details untold but many I have extracted from other records and can be incorporated into the booklet. It would cost about $5.00 to copy and send --- if you are interested I will do the task for you - free of charge. I also found a picture of Ebenezar Flinn in the Pleasant Hill Church records. A page of this Flinn Family booklet tells of John & Mollie English moving to Los Cinces, Texas. Please let me know about copying and sending the Flinn book information. This is an interesting family who were very involved with the Presbyterian church!! Blessings, Ruth Kasten, kastenre@ldd.net
