J. Snider, died suddenly about 3 o'clock a.m. October 13 of apoplexy. She was at the home of Mr. Snider and supposed to be in excellent health when, in the early morning, the family heard her groans and found her dying. A physician was summoned, but it was too late to give relief. Her body is being prepared for shipment to her home at Cape Girardeau for interment. He daughter, who is a teacher in the public school here, has the sympathy of the citizens of Fredericktown in her sad bereavement. ~ Fredericktown Tribune Mrs. Snyder, was Cynthia Stevens, the daughter of ex-Judge David Stevens, and was born and reared near Glenn Allen, (Bollinger Co.) where she was married to A. C. Snyder, for many years the agent and operator at that place. She had many warm friends who will sincerely mourn her death. ~ Local News Marble Hill
