I was inquiring about Gus Leyhe at the request of Judy Leyhe who was trying to find information about a young man who is a descendant of Gus Leyhe. My Great-great grandfather Henry Abraham Leyhe was born in Germany December 9, 1832, came to America in 1841 with his parents. They lived in St. Louis, Missouri then moved to Hancock County Illinois. Henry moved to Schuyler County, Missouri after he married and spent the rest of his life there. I know no other Leyhe relatives except those descended from his daughter, Mary Catherine (Leyhe) Snowbarger who was my great-grandmother. Do you know whether there is a possible connection between Henry and Gus Leyhe? I would be interested in any information you have. Betty Thompson
