    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Sutea Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/zJB.2ACE/1957.1 Message Board Post: On the 1920 Census for Buchanan County, Missouri, I find a John Sutea, age 43 Lena, wife, age 35 Nick, son, age 16 All were born in Hungary. Both John and Lena show parents born in Hungary. The language looks like "Romanian O.L." but is hard to read. Next to them is another Hungarian family. The last could be Kartin or maybe Kastin: John, HOH, 40 Anna, wife, 40 John, son, 20 George, son, 17 Frances, daughter, 11 All from both families except Anna and Frances show working at a packing house. In 1930, it shows a different family in Buchanan County. Sutea, Raymond, head, age 32 Alexandre, wife, age 32 Helen, daughter, age 8 Also in the household is: Piligian, Andon ??????, Bog??? Sorry, I cannot make it out. There were other families in the area from Turkey, Poland and Russia. It would seem your Mike would fit in best with the 1920 folks. I found no earlier census so I am guessing they were somewhat new to the states. I hope something here helps. Chuck McCardie Farley, MO
