I am researching my husband's Lattner ancestors who were buried at Calvary Cemetery. Anyone who has any information about headstones/graves still at Calvary, I hope they will share with this list. I've not found much information on the Lattner's and we are very distressed at the possibility of learning about human bones in the fill dirt. I have a couple of questions, if anyone has answers: 1. Is the area that still has burials maintained? 2. Does a list exist naming the original burials? 3. Does a list exist naming those still buried? 4. Did the Catholic Church/Diacese own Calvary & did they sell & to whom? 5. Cemeteries aren't sold often, does anyone know why it was sold/burials moved? I'm researching a similiar situation in Texas where a cemetery was removed to make room for a highway. In this situation, burials were removed to several cemeteries & private cemeteries. Marie
