There is Jamestown, from 1839-1841, in Buchanan County. There is a Jamestown in Andrew County, 1841-1850. No mention of a Jimtown in either. Considering that Andrew County became a county, on 29 January, 1841, could the Buchanan County line have been further north until 1841? Also, I saw a an article about a family moving 1/2 mile south of Savannah, in 1838, and the article stated that the location was then in Buchanan County. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
