Elbert Sevier died in St. Joseph, Buchanan co., Mo. on 8 Aug 1902, he was 74. Buried in Mt. Mora Cem., St. Joseph, Buchanan co., Mo. On 17 Jun 1849 when Elbert Sevier was 21, he married Polly E. FERRIL, daughter of Col. Samuel D. FERRIL (abt 1806-abt 1871) & Unknown UNKNOW (-bef 1847), in Buchanan co., Mo. Born in 1832 in Clay co., Mo. Polly E. died in St. Joseph, Buchanan co., Mo. on 1 Aug 1864, she was 32. They had the following children: 2 i. Samuel D. (1851-1929) 3 ii. Sarah Ellen (1854-) 4 iii. Elizabeth (Jane) (1855-1880) iv. George I., 1C4R. Born in 1856 in Mo. On 12 Jan 1879 when George I. was 23, he married Emilie (Emma) MONTGOMERY, in Buchanan co., Mo. 5 v. William T. Samuel D. died in Long Beach, California on 21 Jan 1929, he was 78. In 1874 when Samuel D. was 22, he married Emma Lavina McCAULEY, daughter of Samuel McCAULEY (18 Oct 1819-12 Feb 1888) & Louisa MAXWELL (11 Feb 1823-7 Jan 1889), in Missouri. Born on 6 May 1858 in St. Joseph, Buchanan co., Mo. Emma Lavina died in Long Beach, California on 25 May 1938, she was 80. They had the following children: i. James W. "Wilsie" (1876-) ii. Ransom (1878-<1949) iii. Charles F. (1879-1949) iv. Hugh (1881-<1949) v. Myrtle A. (1883-) vi. Alexanda (Etta?) (1892-) 3. Sarah Ellen GANN, 1C4R. Born in 1854 in Buchanan co., Mo. In 1874 when Sarah Ellen was 20, she married William Perrin SAMPSON, in Mo. Born in 1841 in De Kalb co., Mo. William Perrin died in 1918, he was 77. They had the following children: i. UNNAMED ii. Gertie 4. Elizabeth (Jane) GANN, 1C4R. Born in 1855 in Buchanan co., Mo. Elizabeth (Jane) died in Buchanan co., Mo. in 1880, she was 25. Buried in Sparta Cem., Buchanan co., Mo. bef 1874 when Elizabeth (Jane) was 19, she married George Bell McCAULEY, son of Samuel McCAULEY (18 Oct 1819-12 Feb 1888) & Louisa MAXWELL (11 Feb 1823-7 Jan 1889). Born abt 1849 in Buchanan co., Mo. George Bell died in 1908, he was 59. They had the following children: i. Ida B. (1874-) ii. Robert Lee (1876-) iii. Charlie (1878-<1880) iv. Sarah (Died as Infant) (1880-) 5. William T. GANN, 1C4R. Born in 1857 in Mo. Buried in Sparta Cem., Willow Brook, Mo. In 1881 when William T. was 24, he married Alice B. (Allie) ROBERTS, daughter of Jonathan ROBERTS & Elizabeth WRIGHT, in Missouri. Born in 1861. Alice B. (Allie) died on 30 Mar 1891, she was 30. Buried in Sparta Cem., Willow Brook, Mo.
