What I am searching for is an old newspaper article that would have been in the St. Joe Gazette in the (probably) early 1930's. (It could have been earlier but not later as he died in 1932.) This would concern a George Burton William, who was involved in some sort of altercation where a man was killed. (At one time my father said he thought it was in Cameron) Evidently George was convicted of this and was subsequently sent to prison. Jefferson City, it was said. I also think his picture was in the newspaper article. He would have been in his 40's at that time. George was married at the time and lived in St. Joseph with his wife and 3 little children plus a baby who was born in 1917 and died at 5 weeks old. If anyone has any knowledge of this event or any thing on the family, please contact me. Thanks, Janette --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Finance Tax Center - File online.
