That is the area I am looking for my Browns in. My Browns were in Leon Co. Tx. on the 1900 census. I loose them after that. One of my cousins still lives in Fairfield by Reds Lake. On 1900 census were: John Brown m.to Adell Hinson in 1899. They had one son 1/12 old name Marshall Lee Brown. (They later had other children) One of which was Mary Helen Brown born about 1903. Next door to them were the Henry Brown and Mattie (wife) and family. Please let me know if these could be your Browns. Karen Moore Kerr
