STARK born 18 November 1852 in Illionis and his wife, Sophia M. (unknown) born 5 January 1861 in Germany. They lived in St. Joseph, Buchanan County from 1892 through 1905 at 2906 Catawba Street. Philip was a brick mason. Sophia's mother, Margaretha Christina [BUNTZ ??], was my g-grandmother who's married names were Mrs. Johan Georg MENG and Mrs. David BERGER both of Doniphan County, Kansas. I am trying to determine her exact surname spelling. Children include: - Edward H. STARK born 1881 in Illinois and lived in St. Joseph; Katherine "Katie" A. STARK born May 1884 in Illinois, to marry (unknown) ALLEN; - Philip W. STARK, Jr., born Mar 1886 in Illinois who married Carrie 9unknown) and lived in St. Joseph; - John STARK, born Aug 1887 in Illinois who married Elsie (unknown) and moved to King County, Washington by 1920; - Alice STARK born Nov 1889 in Illinois; Joseph STARK born March 1892 in Missouri; and - Emma STARK born and died in July 1893.
