I found a copy of a land grant in Buchanan Co. Mo in a will for my gggreatfather in same co. Land record copied below My question was always where in Savannah was the land office found. I think Savannh was just north of St. Joseph MO. Anyone with other information I would appreciate also. Phyllis This is a land described below. We found this in the estate of James P. Yes, Savannah is just north of St. Joseph, MO. St. Joseph is in Buchanan County and Savannah is in Andrew County. I would estimate that they are about 10-15 miles apart depending where in St. Joseph you start measuring. Sharlene K.
