This is just a hunch on my part. I think the Sisters Hospital may have been owned by the Catholic Church. If it was I would think that the Archdiocese in Kansas City would have acquired the records. Like I said though this is purely a hunch and although I live in St. Joseph, Missouri and have been doing genealogical research for a variety of clients, I don't know what happened to the records from the Sisters Hospital. Here is the link to their site -- at least they might direct you to someone who knows. If they don't know anything about it then it is possible that someone at the St. Joseph Museum would know or maybe the Patee House Museum -- both have websites and are located in St. Joseph. One more thought is the St. Joseph Historical Society might have information. They too have a website. Hope that one of these places can help you.
