I am specifically looking for information on the death of my ggg-gfather who died, according to family stories, of 'self inflicted wounds' in 1895 in St. Joseph. I would think that something like that would warrant an investigation by the coroner if it was true. Is there anywhere else I could look for information if these kinds of records are not available? Thank you for any advice someone may be able to give me.
