While researching my Bledsoe line in Buchanan County, I noticed that one of my great great uncles was named Peter Valentine Bledsoe which I thought was odd for a middle name. In those times the men often had the mother's maiden name as a middle name but so far I have not located the connection so you might want to continue to look in this county and I will keep this message in case I come upon something.
