    2. Belinda Floyd
    3. Hello: I'm intrigued by your info. Both of my parents are from Missouri & I have heard references to Doc Reynolds throughout my life. If I remember correctly, I think he was the Dr. that delivered most of my maternal grandmothers children. Also, I think that someone of the relatives lived "out at the old Reynolds place". I'll have to ask my mother. Also, my father is a Floyd. The family was originally from N.C. then to Indiana, then to MO. There were twin boys, (Basil & Francis) born July 4th, 1800. Around the early 1820's Francis & his father John moved to Indiana. Basil stayed in N.C. Just wondering if their are any connections. Take care, Belinda in northern Calif __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around http://mail.yahoo.com

Since that time DNA has been perfected and also they are recovering remains in North Korea. Our government is obligated to return those remains to the proper family. DNA samples have been obtained from most of the families of these missing soldiers. For various reasons some families have not been located. There are 74 families in Missouri that have not been located. There are three families from Buchanan County that has not been located. When the remains are recovered and identified they will be returned to the family for proper burial. I am just an old (76 years) Combat Veteran out of the Korean War and thankful that I did return. I consider this a very noble cause and I hope that you can help in some way to find these families. For more information on the project you may go to http://www.jpac.pacom.mil/. I understand St. Joseph might have kept their own death certificates/ records prior to the statewide records. I have an ancester, John A. McGaugh who, died at the Asylum in St. Joseph in 1907. I'm not sure if the Asylum deaths would have been recorded by the city (I understand its on the edge of the city)? If so might somebody be able to direct me to where I might be able to obtain these records? Would the city still have them; it doesn't appear the state has them from what I've seen? Alternately would somebody have an index to see if John A. McGaugh is listed? Thanks for any assistance.
