VA) is living in Newport Twp., Washington Co., OH and members of his family include: Mary Ann (age 33, b. PA); George W. (age 8, b. OH); Catharine L. (age 5, b. OH); Asberry S. (age 2, b. OH) Cline. Also living with the family is Mordecai Amos (age 17, b. OH) who is a laborer. It appears that Conrad Cline married a second time between 1850 and 1860 and his second wife's name was Virginia Ann _____ and her birthplace is listed as VA in 1860. In the 1860 census, Conrad Cline (age 40, b. VA) is living in Center Twp., Buchanan Co., Missouri and members of his family included: Ann V. (age 35, b. VA); George W. (age 18, b. I know nothing of Nancy but Richardson Herndon was born in Virginia in aboiut 1775 and died the 10th of February, 1852 in Kentucky. They were married the 5th of May, 1801 in Knox County, Kentucky. This is what I know about her. She married Franz Skalsky abt 1872. She was born in Selz, Russia 27 Nov 1852. They had nine children when they came to the US around 16 May 1893. They homesteaded southeast of Glen Ullin, North Dakota. In 1915 they moved to Glen Ullin where Franz was a blacksmith. Maria died 20 Jan 1922 and is buried at Sacred Heart Cemetary, Glen Ullin, ND. I have not been able to verify the actual dates. The information was obtained from a historical society book. Any possible leads on this family would be appreciated. I do have names of their children, birthdates, death dates etc. I am specifically looking for the names of her parents and her siblings. I have a GGG Aunt Mertie who was married to a Martin L. Spencer in 1890. She was raised in Nebraska and then in Nodaway County in MO where they were married. I am trying to find a place of burial for her. He is possibly remarried and having children with Della by 1900. I wonder if the Martin L. Spencer of Buchanan County could have been her husband and she died before 1900. If any one has any light you can shed on this, I would be most greatful.
