My great grandmother was Isabell Walkup. I am trying to find who Joshua's partents are. Since his first wife was Elizabeth Moutray, and I had seen where he paid his poll taxes at the same time (at least it looked like that) as Gilford and James Moutray, I was playing a hunch that I might find something about him by checking the Moutray family. I did not know until a few days ago that Gilford and James were Ann's sons. Elizabeth died 3-21-1844, according to the Skinner Bible. Her sons were John Wesley and William Harrison. John died 5-16-1862 during the Civil War-am not sure how, but am told he was buried in St. Louis, MO. I have some information on William's decendents, if you are interested. Joshua married Isabella/Elizabeth Walkup Feb. 15, 1845 Buchanan Co.Mo., children of one or the other were John, Willie. Elizabeth Moutray was the daughter of William and Ann Moutray (I have legal papers naming her). Outside of this I do not know much--would be interested in what you know.
