    1. [MOBUCHAN] St. Joseph, MO City Directories
    2. Arthur J. Burch
    3. Does anyone have access to St. Joseph City Directories, who could do a look-up for me? According to Ancestry.com, Enoch BURCH is listed in the 1887-1890 City Directories. I would sincerely appreciate learning any particulars included in these directories. Enoch BURCH was my grandfather. He may be living in the household of Phillipina FUCHS, his mother-in-law. Any information about her will also be greatly appreciated. I will gladly repay for expenses. Thanks for any help. Art Burch

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Schoch Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/zJB.2ACE/1984 Message Board Post: I am looking for a list of burials at the Bowen Cemetery in Buchanan Co., Missouri. The information I have on the cemetery is that the cemetery is located on a slight hillside north of Highway 6, east of St. Joseph’s, MO, and only a couple of miles west of the Buchanan County eastern border line. There is a crop field between the highway and the cemetery with a gravel lane from the highway to the cemetery. My great-great-great grandfather John M. Schoch is buried here along with a few of his children and grandchildren. John M. was born in Berks County, PA, traveled first to OH in time for the 1850 census, was in Indiana in 1856 when his wife Catherine died, and next went to Buchanan Co., Missouri for the 1860 census. John M. died in 1870 and was buried in the Bowen Cemetery. I suspect there may be other family members at the Bowen that I'm not aware of. Betty, Berks County, PA

    1. RE: [MOBUCHAN] Buchanan Co. divorces
    2. Sharlene K. Miller
    3. Hi Marsha, The divorce records in Buchanan County are at the Courthouse and they are not indexed. There are several district courts that divorces occurred in so it is not an easy task to research divorce records here. I do not have time right now to take on any research like this, but sometimes I can fit it in however, I do that type of research for a fee since it is very time consuming. Alice has remarried in Feb 5, 1921. So it would have to be between Jan 1920 and Feb 1921. I hope this isn't too much of a span. I would be willing to pay for any expenses. Thank You, Marsha
