Allen 1919-2006 MARTINSVILLE, Mo. - Roxie J. Allen, 86, Martinsville, died Friday, July 28, 2006. Survivors include sons, Jerry and Larry Allen; daughters, Rosalie Price; sisters, Clara Bell Cavanaugh, Madilyn Oddy, Maxine Robertson and Bettie Jo Maurath. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, Mo. Inurnment: will be at a later date in the Lone Star Cemetery, Denver, Mo. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home where friends may call after 11 a.m. Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to Comfort Care Hospice.

Yes, Savannah is just north of St. Joseph, MO. St. Joseph is in Buchanan County and Savannah is in Andrew County. I would estimate that they are about 10-15 miles apart depending where in St. Joseph you start measuring. Sharlene K. The Buchanan County, Missouri records are available through the Family History Library. If you will find one near you and order the correct films you can look for the records you need. It is best to use the www.familysearch.org site to look for the films you need and then you can order them at the nearest FHC. The site I mentioned also has the FHC locations listed too.
