Missourian, Cape Girardeau, MO Aug. 2001 OPAL DINKENS Marble Hill, Mo. -- Opal Marie Dinkens, 75, of Marble Hill died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2001, at Advance Nursing Center in Advance, MO. Born Oct. 25, 1925, in Gumbo, Mo., she was a daughter of Fred and Carrie Burt Pouncher. Dinkens was a retired nurse's aide and had once worked at Bond Nursing Home. A member of Brownwood Baptist Church Dinkens first married Cellie Smeed who died in 1955. In 1971 she married Charles Dinkens, who survives. Other survivors include her daughter, Sharon Barlow of Jonesboro, Ill.; two brothers, Gerald Poucher of Hopewell, Mo., and Clarence Poucher of Kissee Mills, Mo.; three sisters, Jewell Poucher of DesLodge, Mo., Glenda Miller of Festus, and Nelda Parker of Tennessee; 12 grandchildren and one great-granchild. Dinkens was preceded in death by two daughers, Wanda Reed and Arletta Parson; a son Rayburn Tuttle; two brothers, Jess and Danny Poucher; and a sister, Shirley Cagle. Friends may call them 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Hutchings Funeral Chapel. Funeral will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Ethel Lou Myers officiating. Burial will be in Bollner County Memorial Park.
