Shell, 85 ears old, who died Friday at the Bond Nursing Home in Lutesville, where he had lived since 1954. Rev. Henry Liley, conducted the rites and burial was in the Patterson Cemetery, near Hahn. Mr. Shell, a son of the late Frederick and Susan Crader Shell, was born March 21, 1874, in the Hahn community where he spent his entire life, except for the five years he lived in the nursing home. During his active life, Mr. Shell farmed. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clare Shell of St. Louis; a stepson, Alonzo Greer of St. Louis, five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Three children and three brothers preceded him in death.
