Rev. Dolph Lacy of Zalma and Rev. Homer Campbell of Arab conducted the services and burial was in the church cemetery, with Morgan Funeral Home of Advance in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Hardesty, the former Miss Minnie Jackson, was born May 23, 1891 in this county. In 1917 she was married to Jess Hardesty, who died in 1952. She is survived by seven children: Mrs. Jean Gribbler of McGee, Mrs. Ira Hayes, Mrs. Raymond Crawford and Thomas Hardesty of Kennett, Mrs. Grover Wallace of Lowndes and Misses Irene and Ruby Hardesty at home; two sisters, Mrs. Sara Alley of Advance and Mrs. Luis Hodge of Puxico; five brothers: Andrew, Frank, Jeff and Louis Jackson at Gipsy and Ollie Jackson of Advance and six grandchildren.
