Missourian, Cape Girardeau, Mo. -- Dec. 1998 OTTO A. VEHRS Glen Allen -- Otto August Vehrs, 89, of Glen Allen died Thursday, Dec. 24, 1998, at the Cape Girardeau Lutheran Home. He was born June 8, 1909, in Monee, Ill., to Otto and Maggie Gray Vehrs. He married Ila Seabaugh Feb. 3, 1951. She died May 8, 1979. He and been a self-employed farmer and was a member of Glen Allen United Methodist Church. One brother and one sister preceded him in death. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Woods officiating. Burial will follow in Baker Cemetery at Marble Hill.
