    3. Dates of operation for the Sumac post office were: 1867-68, 1870-73, 1879-80. It was in Fillmore township. Can not find it on the old maps of 1895. It says it is on, Atlas of Mo. pub. Campbell, 1874 - map #30 if this helps any. I think it was near Tallent, Mo. just below Patton on hwy, #51 Hope this helps, Lloyd C.
