Rev. L. A. Davis of Silva, conducted the services and burial was in the church cemetery with Morgan Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Irvin was born January 12, 1886 at Clarkton. He was first married to May Lovins, who later died. To this union one child, Mrs. Harry Stevens was born. He later married Mary Jones and to this union four children were born. The surviving children are: Mrs. Harry Stevens of Middleton, PA; Clarence Irvin of St. Louis, Marvin Irvin of Ravenna, Ohio; and Franklin Irvin of Gipsy; one brother, Robert Irvin of McGee; one sister, Mrs. Merl Barnes of Sedalia; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. One child preceded him in death.
