May 21, 1959 Wilma Landewee Weds Wayne Wolfenkoehler In St. John's Catholic Church of Leopold at 10 o'clock a.m. Saturday, Miss Wilma Landewee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Landewee of Leopold, became the bride of Wayne Wolfenkoehler of Jackson. The bridegroom is the son of Albert C. Wolfenkoehler. B. L. Hotze provided nuptial music for the double ring ceremony performed by the Rev. Robert Landewee. Preceding the bride to the altar were her sister, Miss Mary Ann Landewee and Miss Jo Ann Ressel of Illmo. Their embroidered white nylon sheer gowns were encircled at the waist with blue taffeta cummerbunds ending in a large bow with streamers. They wore picture hats of matching taffeta and carried white baskets filled with red roses. For her wedding, the former Miss Landewee chose a gown of appliqued Chantilly lace and tulle. The fitted bodice was designed with a jewel neckline and long sleeves, pointed at the wrists. The bouffant skirt, of formal-length, was of tulle with an overdrape of the lace which dropped from a mid-skirt in the front to the hemline at the back. Her fingertip veil cascaded from a small hat of lace and seed pearls and she carried a white prayer book accented with an orchid. Dean Goodson of Oak Ridge was best man and Anthony Landewee of Leopold, brother of the bride was groomsman. Ushers included Harold and Gerald Pensel of Jackson. Miss Betty Jo Barrett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Barrett of Jackson, was the flower girl. Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held in the parish hall. When the couple departed on a wedding trip to the South, Mrs. Wolfenkoehler was attired in a navy blue sheath dress with white accessories. They are residing in Jackson where Mr. Wolfenkoehler is employed by the Coca-Cola Bottling Works and awaiting his induction into the Air Force. Mrs. Wolfenkoehler is employed at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
