REED Last Rites were held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson for Thomas M. Reed, 82 year old retired farmer of near Glen Allen, who died Saturday at the home of a son, Orren Reed of Cape Girardeau. Rev. Verdell Jackson, pastor of the Pentecostal Church in Jackson and Rev. Tommy M. Jackson, pastor of the Lutesville Penecostal Church conducted the services, with burial in the Ajpple Creek Cemetery east of Pocahontas. Mr. Reed was born at Salem on March 11, 1877, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Reed. He married Miss Mary Jane Trickey, who survives. He was a member of the Lutesville Pentecostal Church. Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Nola Mizell of Jackson; three sons, Fletcher and Orren Reed of Cape Girardeau, and Lester Reed of near Glen Alleln; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
