HILARY HILDERBRAND Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Church of God in Lutesville for Mrs. Samantha D. Hilderbrand, 77 years old, who died Thursday afternoon at the family home in Lutesville. Rev. Marshall Page, pastor of the church conducted the rites and was assisted by Rev. Carl Stroder, of the Assembly of God Church in Lutesville. Burial was in the Baker Cemetery, with Baker Funeral Home of Lutesville in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Hilderbrand, the former Miss Samatha D. Cole, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Marion Cole, was born near Scopus on July 8, 1881. In 1902 she was married to Hilery Hilderbrand, who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Miss June Hilderbrand of St. Louis, Mrs. Hettie Davis of Pana, Illinois, and Mrs. Catherine Masters of near Lutesville, ; two sons, Homer Hilderbrand of St. Louis and Charles Hilderbrand of Lutesville; a sister, Mrs. Effie Alender and a brother, Roscoe Rockwell of Pana, Illinois; a granddaughter, Mrs. Shirlely June Morris of St. Louis and three great-grandchildren. Three daughters and one son preceded her in death.
