    1. Correction-on parents of Richard Albert J. Bazzell parents
    2. Beryl
    3. In my haste, I incorrectly identified the parents of Richard A. J. Bazzell, b. 1851 in Calloway county, KY. I mentioned that he was a twin to Martha Manerva Stone Bazzell who married a first cousin, Reverend John Wesley Bazzell. I mixed up the parents of the first cousins, who were brothers. I'm correcting it, in case anyone is researching this family, I don't want wrong information to sit out there. I know this can happen, and I don't want to be the cause of misinformation. Correct parents of Richard A. J. Bazzell and his twin, Martha Manerva Stone Bazzell were Mathias Bazzell and Laura Jane Stone. Parents of John Wesley Bazzell were Robert J. Bazzell, younger brother of Mathias, and Amanda Frances Culver. Robert J. and Mathias Bazzell were sons of Grancer Kindal Bazzell and Betsy Stokes. Grancer Kindal was born in 1800 in Caswell county, NC and died in 1880 in Calloway county, KY. He is also the father of my direct ancestor, Calvin Thomas Bazzell, who migrated to Hardin county, TN sometime around 1875. I have a lot more on this family for anyone researching them. I hope I didn't mess anyone up with my earlier post. Beryl Reid

    1. Thanks to all who responded!
    2. Beryl
    3. Just a quick thanks to all who responded to my message about the Bazzell and Lincoln family. As you can see, I got a wonderful response and answers to my questions about the Bazzell and Lincoln family. Very sad, appears that the daughter, Alice Belle, newly married and a young mother, contracted typhoid, died, then the grandparents helped with the baby, who also died of same, then a little later, Mary Jane Adams (the wife of Richard Albert Bazzell and grandmother to the baby, contracted the same sickness, and died, leaving many of her own children behind. I just joined this list and appreciate the generosity of all. I had been concentrating on the earlier history of this family, they originated in Caswell county, NC in late 1790s, then by 1820 had migrated to Tennessee and Kentucky, settling mostly in Calloway county, KY. Richard Albert was the son of Robert J. Bazzell and Jane Canady. Richard was also a twin to Martha Manerva Stone Bazzell. She married the Reverend John Wesley Bazzell (who was a first cousin), migrated to Missouri around the same time as Richard. She died young, in 1901. Thanks to all! Beryl Reid

Around 1906 some members of the family, including a daughter, Richard's wife (Mary Jane Adams) and a grandchild died of Typhoid Fever. If anyone has access to the names of burials in this cemetery, I would really appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks! Beryl Reid

    3. Don: The Slaybaugh Cemetery is in the old Lutesville area. If you go up the hill from the main street to the old Lutesville High School building and turn right . The cemetery is out that street or nearby. It's been 30 years or more since I've been there so not sure about the exact location. To find the Marble Hill Cemetery, go to the courthouse square. turn right at the bank building and go out that street, again it's been 30 years or so since I've been there, but they are to distinct cemeteries. I could find both of these though I might have to "drive around the block" a couple of times, <GRIN> Lorena ----- Original Message ----- From: "Don E.
