She was born July 3, 1909, in Monette, Ark., daughter of Robert Clinton and Edna Davis Goad. She and James Elbert Barker were married Jan. 8, 1928. He died Jan. 24, 1998. Barker was a dietitian at St. Charles Hospital in Aurora, Ill., until moving to Glen Allen in 1968. She attended New Trace Creek Church. Survivors include three sons, Clinton Barker, James Barker Sr., and Joe Barker Sr., all of Glen Allen; three daughters, Wanda Cooper and Linda Russell of Glen Allen, Brenda Miller of Marble Hill, Mo.; two sisters, Ruby Johnson of Arnold, Mo., Bonnie James of Marble Hill; 24 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, four brothers, two sisters and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4 to 8 p.m. today. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Shoemaker officiating. Burial will be in Barker Family Cemetery near Glen Allen.

A native of the Lutesville community, Mr. Liley was graduated from Woodland High School in Lutesville. He is married to the former Miss Ella Eaker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Eaker. They have two sons, Duane and Dean. Both sons are associated with their father in the Liley Radio and Television business in Lutesville. Mr. Liley has been in the radio repair business for the past 28 years and has had a business in Lutesville the past 14 years. He is a Navy veteran, having served three years during World War II with 27 months spent in the Pacific Theater. Mr. Liley has served as deputy sheriff for four years. In making his announcement as a candidate for public office, Mr. Liley asks the vote and support of his friends in the coming election. Rev. Estel Mouser and Rev. W. C. Roberts conducted the services and burial was in the Glen Allen Cemetery. Ward Funeral Home of Lutesville was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Slinkard was born September 17, 1874, in the New Salem community, a daugher of the late Jack and Agnes Walker Devault. On August 12, 1894, she married John Slinkard, who preceded her in death in 1953. She spent her entire life in this county and was a member of the New Salem Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to the son with whom she resided, she is survived by another son, McKinley Slinkard of Grassy and a brother, Cash Devault of Weingarten.

She was a daughter of the late William and Anne Shetley. On December 24, 1898 she married George Bollinger, who preceded her in death September 10, 1955. Mrs. Bollinger was a member of the Kinder's Chapel Methodist Church. Holcomb Funeral services were held at 8 a.m. Monday at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold for James C. Holcomb, 84 years old, who died Friday at the family home in Leopold. Rev. E. G. Stolle, pastor, conducted the rites after which the body was taken to the O'Malley Cemetery near Licking for burial. Rosary was recited Sunday night at 7:30 at Baker Funeral Home in Lutesville. Mr. Holcomb was born March 28, 1876, at Edanville, Mo. On May 8, 1919, he was married to Miss Isabel Jaszarowski, who survives. They moved to Leopold three years ago from Palace, Missouri. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Orvile Seiler of Lutesville, Mrs. Norman Usinger of Pevely and Mrs. Alex O'Hara of North Sacramento, California; a son, Harvey James Holcomb of North Sacramento, Calif.; 14 grandchildren, and two half-brothers, Charles and Michael Lowder of Bakersfield, California.

Rev. Homer Campbell of Arab and Rev. Eugene Payne of near Advance conducted the services and burial was in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Lutesville with the Morgan Funeral Home of Advance in charge of arrangements. Mr. Bohnsack, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bohnsack was born June 16, 1899, in Cape Girardeau County. On October 27, 1919, he was married to Miss Lottie Bitterman, who survives. He was a member of the Ladd Chapel General Baptist Church. Also surviving are nine children, who are: Cleo, Royal Lee and Dale Bohnsack of Advance; Mrs. Ralph Francis of Marble Hill, Kenneth, Glen and Curtis Bohnsack of St. Louis, Mrs. Eugene Slinkard of Florissant, and Gale Bohnsack at home; a brother and sister, Raymond Bohnsack and Mrs. Nona Umfleet of Cape Girardeau and 13 grandchildren. The youth was killed in a car accident near St. Louis early Saturday morning. He was returning to St. Louis following an overnight visit with his parents. A. Revelle of Dongola. The family laundry had been done at the laundromat and the little girl had left her doll. She was driven there by her father so that she could get the doll and upon crossing the street to return to the car, she was fatally injured. A doctor was called to the scene of the accident, but the child was pronounced dead. She was born January 21, 1955 at Cape Girardeau. Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist Church at Scopus with Rev. Ben Wilsey, pastor of the Lutesville and Marble Hill Methodist Churches, in charge of the service. Burial will be in the Cook Cemetery at Scopus. The body is at Ward Funeral Home in Lutesville. Surviving are the parents, four brothers, Larry, Gary, Gene and Rasby, Jr., all of the home and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Long of Millersville.

He was driving a transport truck loaded with apples for the Cox Fruit and Vegetable Co. of Plainview, Texas, and when nearing Denver he struck the edge of a road grader blade causing the truck to plunge into an emabnkment which completely demolished the truck, killing Mr. Barrett instantly. He was born June 7, 1921, near Grassy, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Barrett. He spent his boyhood ddays at home and attended the schools of this county. He went to Colorado in his early twenties and while there he married Mary Hightower, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hightower of Montrose, Colorado. Later he moved to Plainview, Texas, which was his home at the time of his death. Surviving relatives are his wife, two daughters, Carolyn, 14; Sharon, 12 and one son, David, 4; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Barrett of Grassy and one brother, Wm. Barrett of Wood River, Illinois. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 at the Chapel of Roses Funeral Home in Montrose, Colorado. Burial was in the Chapel of Roses Cemetery in Montrose.

The body was taken Monday from the funeral home to the home of Ben Krussel in Leopold where Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Mrs. Krussel was born March 24, 1881. She was married to Alton Krussel, who died 15 years ago. She is survived by four sons, Ben and Paul Krussel of Leopold, Henry Krussel of Bridgeton and Wm.
