I am looking for information on a Metta Heimsoth that came from the Hanover province. She was born in 1862 and immigrated to the US in 1882, first going briefly to Illinois and then on to Nebraska where she married and had 9 children. I think she may possibly have come from the Armsen area of Hanover. Is that where your relatives came from ? Do you know who I might be able to get in touch with for some research there ?
